In July 2009, Dutch water company Duinwaterbedrijf Zuid Holland changed its name to Dunea, a name whose origins lie in the English word 'dune' and the French word 'l'eau' for water. A clean, crisp logo depicts the inseparable link between clean, blue water and the undulating ochre dunes.
Wanting to rapidly implement its new brand, Dunea appointed Nijkamp Nijboer to carry out the project as overall project managers, who in turn selected the Dutch companies Bergslot, to undertake the conversion, and Squeezy, for material application. Within three days, 180 blue cars were wrapped in white, and three weeks later they all displayed the new brand.
While Dunea wanted a fresh, crisp and clean look, it was also after an easy-to-manage and low-maintenance finish. To achieve this, it selected Avery 900 Super Cast White to wrap the cars, and Avery 904 Super Cast Chrome Yellow and Avery 964 Super Cast Sea Blue to finish off the branding.
At the same time, Dunea extended its fleet with 55 new, white cars, which needed to be wrapped with blue and yellow waves and company logos. The conversion was carried out by Reklamevisie, using Avery 904 Super Cast Chrome Yellow and Avery 964 Super Cast Sea Blue.
These durable, high-quality films were an excellent choice ensuring years of crisp, strong images.
